TVS Motor Company has launched its new flagship scooter ,NTorq in India, Priced at ₹ 58,750 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new TVS NTorq 125 cc scooter, was revealed back at the Auto Expo 2016. Targeted towards what TVS called the Generation Z, Specially the younger audience in the age group of 18-24, with technically and stylish.The territory has already some worthy contenders like Honda Grazia,Activa 125,Access 125. Other than that the upcoming Aprilia SR125 is also in the race against the new launched NTorq.
TVS has also introduced the SmartXonnect, a Bluetooth-enabled connected technology system that can accessed by the NTorq mobile application for android phones, and it’s clearly unexpected.Technology Point of View, the new TVS NTorq 125 gets a touch of TVS racing pedigree and offers some attractive or stylish both features. As mentioned earlier, the new TVS NTorq 125 scooter comes with the SmartXonnect technology which includes several first-in-class features like the fully digital instrument cluster that comes with 55 features. Among the top offerings, the NTorq 125 comes with navigation assist, top-speed recorder, in-built lap-timer, service reminder, trip meter, engine oil temperature and multi-ride statistic modes such as street and sport. As the scooter can also be connected to your phone it also shows things like phone battery strength display, last parked location assist, and more.

Other key features include a USB mobile charging outlet under the seat, a 22 liter under seat storage that can accommodate a full face helmet, diamond cut alloy wheels, an engine kill switch, a pass button for the headlamp and also an engine temperature indicator on the instrument cluster.

Another interesting, segment-leading detail about the scooter has fully digital instrument cluster. This cluster is Bluetooth enabled and can connect to any smartphones. That opens up a range of possibilities, from navigation to rider stats and caller ID. In fact, the scooter will be easy to locate in mall and office parking lots given the last-known feature it comes with which is very handy. All these features make the NTorq India’s first smart scooter special.
Braking duties are handled by a 220 mm, hydraulic disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. The scooter features a five liter fuel tank that has an external fuel filler cap as a key convenience feature. The NTorq weighs 116 kilograms, and gets daytime running LED’s.
